We recently visited Waiheke Island (had been in Auckland, we are from Sydney)and had dinner at your restaurant Friday before last (5th Dec). I have to say it was outstanding - I have eaten in Europe, Asia, US (including New York)and can honestly say it was the best meal I have ever had. The service was excellent, the view amazing, and the food delectable - I had the salmon ballotine and then scallops, my husband had the tuna - the seafood was so fresh and beautifully prepared it literally melted in the mouth. The flavours were divine, and the preparation stylish yet unpretentious, letting the quality speak for itself. Congratulations - you have made it to the pinnacle! I hope we can return one day.
