Cable Bay Vineyards has been developed by a small group of wine lovers who are passionate about New Zealand and its wines. Our goal is to produce a select range of high quality wines from grapes grown on Waiheke Island and in Marlborough.
The winery complex at 12 Nick Johnstone Drive is the heart of Cable Bay Vineyards and the essence of everything we stand for. We are a proudly New Zealand company and the building reflects our relationship with the land and the sea.
Our new complex includes many different aspects of Cable Bay’s operations. The main building houses the Winery, Restaurant, Wine Bar, Tasting Room and The Motukaha Room, our private room for business meetings and private dinners, as well as the company’s administration. In the grounds surrounding the main building are working vineyards, olive groves and the vineyard office.
Cable Bay Restaurant serves lunch 7 days per week and dinner Thursday - Saturday from 6pm . The Restaurant seats 75 inside and 35 in the alfresco courtyard.
The Tasting Room is open from 11am to 5pm, 7 days a week. Tastings cost $5 for 7 wines.
The Motukaha Room can host meetings, corporate events and private dinners for up to 30 people.
